The Linen Dress. open neck with a slight scoop/boat neck. the sleeves are around elbow length (can be made 3/4). the length of this dress should be mid-upper thigh, although it can be longer. two pleats at the waist in the front and back. mid-weight linen. two on-seam pockets. neck opening, sleeve openings, and hem are all finished by hand. the hem is 2inches deep, which provides weight.

Tradition Dress - Adult, Vacation Linen

I fell in love with this saturated linen print. A sort of impressionist, modestly psychedelic print that looks like a blissful vacation (Tulum? Zihuatanejo?). The colors are green, yellow, orange, and pink all given the hot treatment, and all slightly mellowed by a caramel brown that keeps it in balance. Tuck pleats fall from the yoke front, and back. Two on seam pockets, and two side vents at the hem. The body is cut straight. Gentle scoop neck, and short sleeves. Fully lined with soft, white cotton voile.

Fine Print Blouse

A very fine print blouse. Hand screened print of brown, charcoal, light tan on white ground. Silk and cotton voile. Boat neck, sleeves are just above the elbow, a bit square in the body with a slight taper at the hem. All edges are hemmed by hand. I wish I knew more about this material, but sadly, I do not. It's very special.

Grey, and off-white stripe washed silk. The stripes have a hand-printed quality. Sleeves are elbow length. The round neck-line is high in the front with a dip in the back, and a small stand-up collar. The pleat at the back of the neck gives volume to the back of the shirt, and there is an elastic gathering the back hem. The front remains minimal.

Three tissue thin layers of taupe linen resulting in a fabric that is mid-weight. The most beautiful linen I have ever seen. The feel of it is dry, and the drape has a bias-cut feel. There is a subtle woven texture. On the body it can slouch perfectly, and hang elegantly. The sleeves are just above the elbow. There is a box pleat at the back of the neck, and a gathered back hem that gives the back of the top volume. The front remains minimal.

Pants in a Japanese Style

Based on a Japanese Tai-Chi style. Modern drawstring pants with subtle, interesting details. The fit is loose, but not baggy with a straight cut hip, and an inset panel between the legs. The drawstring goes through the waistband twice, and is secured by two loops in the front (or the back depending on how one prefers to wear them). Very beautiful woven wool/metal in charcoal grey with a small white stripe. This fabric has a gorgeous hand, and the fine metal threads lend a refined rumpled quality as opposed to a shiny metallic thread quality.
